The Four Years B. A. (Anthropology) programme offered by Department of Anthropology and Tribal Studies, is a full time programme offered as per guidelines and mandates of National Education Policy of India (2020).

Notification for admission in Four Years B. A. (Anthropology) programme is usually flashed in the month of March/April every year.
Eligibility Criteria :
Eligibility Criteria :
A candidate seeking admission to Four Years B. A. (Anthropology) programme must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA.
The same for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer) and Divyang (differently abled) candidates is 45% or equivalent grade/CGPA.
There is no age bar for pursuing the programme.
Candidates appearing in final examination or those waiting for result, are also eligible to apply. However, if such a candidate secures seat, his/her admission shall be provisional and will be confirmed only when all prerequisites for admission are fulfilled on the day of admission or within the stipulated time frame as decided by the University.

The concurrent reservation rules as mandated by the Government of India/University Grants Commission (UGC), shall be applied accordingly.
